The Mysteries of Life Project was created to encourage conversations - out loud or in private - about some of the most important questions we can have about our life, mortality and place in this extraordinary universe.
Many of us find ourselves almost beginners when we try to talk about things that are spiritual or ‘other worldly’ - and in particular where we might ‘go’ after death.
We often explore these tough issues for the first time when grief-stricken by the loss of a loved one, or confronting illness, or reaching an older age.
We use words like God, Spirit, Heaven, Soul, the Afterlife but these words - loaded with connotations and demolished by science - have been knocked uncomfortably out of use. And conversations about death are virtually taboo. They shouldn’t be!
Mixing poems, writings and abstracts, our first booklet - ”Day Dreaming on the Mysteries of Life and Death” - opens a door into some of these huge subjects.
“Once in a while something comes along that is outstanding and makes you want to share it with as many people as possible. Maybe it has a big punch, or it’s beautiful, or moving….or all of these. Perhaps the topic is one that involves everybody, one way or another. This booklet is one of those.
This booklet is short but breathes life (not death), love and magic. It’s very metaphysical and some of the poems and written dreams clearly come from a life and a universe beyond this one. You’ll be touched by this intriguing and attractive work.”

“So much of what we now accept in
our everyday lives has previously been
thought impossible.
And every day we continue to discover quite bizarre and astounding realms of strangeness in our real world.
How do we explain things rationally any more?
Our words don’t seem to fit!”
