What We Do

With the advancement of science it’s perhaps easy to think we know more about our world than ever before. But as our physicists delve deeper, the more unfathomable things truly become: the rational and irrational seem to be standing in spectacular opposition.

Our human bodies are mind-blowing in their design and capability. Recently published books are revealing the hidden, invisible language of trees and animals who coexist alongside us, barely understood. How can we begin to explore where we fit within this extraordinary scheme of things?

Our booklet collections are a way of encouraging us to daydream and think aloud without inhibition - to open a door into some of these huge questions.

The booklets we produce are aimed at those who, like us, have been too caught up in our daily lives to probe anything difficult. We rarely talk about anything ‘strange’ for fear of losing credibility, so we leave these conversations unspoken for much of our lives.

Our route is: just begin. Sometimes language can be limiting, pigeonholing ideas, restricting any useful understanding. So ‘day dreaming’ in the form of poems and open essays is the style we’ve chosen, and we’ve found some breathing space to take a step forward. Exploring the unknown can feel wayward and ‘wrong’ using the language we know, so perhaps we need to use new words, or newer forms.

Our first booklet, Day dreaming on the Mysteries of Life and Death, is now available. Please follow the links above to our shop. For multiple copies, please email our office.

“We want to keep publishing poems and writings so that we explore some of the most important questions we can be asking about our existence and the world we inhabit.”
